If you're going to be scared of something that doesn't exist and isn't even technologically possible, then why not go all the way? What if doctors are inserting the chip in routine checkups with that shyt that's supposed to be looking in your ears? What if dentists put one in with every cavity? What if they forcing tattoo artists to stick microchips in with the ink? What if they're just straight teleporting the chips into your brain, so long as we're making up any non-existent technology we want?

Anything transmitting information would need a power source and an antennae. How you going to make all that go through a needle?
