I’m tired of these weirdos getting upset over jokes about them , but they steady laughing when the jokes about blacks are said

Didn't find that lgbtq stuff funny to be honest, it was more cringe worthy than anything, the first 15 or 20 minutes were hilarious, the middle part was meh and the end was lacklustre

he's still goat though :yeshrug:

And so fukking true if you know LGBT folks in real life. I have literally heard gay folks say that Bi's were greedy...lol

There were so many facts in that special. The crazy part is folks who are hating are so stupid that they don't realize that dave has made jokes about all this shyt many, many times before over the years.

Dave has mentioned for years that he doesn't know R kelly. Even said Kelly goons came to speak to him after joking about Kells. Dave has made jokes about MJs victims before in stand up. And on and on again.
That's what is the core of it, they've changed and they expect him to do the same in regards to LGBT. Pre-2008 they were talking about fakkits and trannies themselves and laughing at his specials when he used the words but now since they have a political identity or they feel that the world has changed he should switch up his comedy to reflect that. I remember after his first Netflix special there was an article on Uproxx a site that has more progressive views talking about his failure to evolve with the times and how he's no longer a great comedian and that's one of the reasons I stopped going to that site. He's made jokes about homosexuals from the beginning and done them in Gay cities San Francisco and Atlanta and if these bloggers were ever fans they'd know this. I don't know how they convince themselves everyone else is as soft as they are when they fail to convince their own comment sections.

The MJ joke was damn near a remix of this one. In fact, this sums up his feelings on Metoo. They hate Dave because he's consistent and not changing for them. Either love it or leave it alone.

And his bit about the LGBT dynamic is true. The other letters resent Gay men specifically gay white men because they feel like they co-opted the entire movement and took all the credit away from minority gay, lesbian, and trans but Gay men resent Lesbians for having an easier ride, G and L hate Bi for having too many options including the chance at a straight lifestyle. I know all this because my sister considers herself an ally of minority LGBTQIA:francis:

While looking for that old MJ bit I found these two clowns from ET Canada criticizing Chappelle about his new joke.

Why do they try? Y'all not convincing nobody to be mad at Dave but yourselves :umad:

I don't even know if I want them to stop. They keep backfiring, all they're doing is isolating themselves from their own audiences bytching about Chappelle:wow:

My only problem with the stand up so far because the logic doesn't hold up within it's own story. They're both slurs and the FCC made a claim that you can use a slur offensive to the group it is attacking. Dave never makes a case that that's not true...he just says he's not a ****** as if gay and fakkit are equivalent. He then proceeds to say he has a ****** body later in the standup.
He's using hypocrisy to expose hypocrisy and showing how forcing a pc culture is a ridiculous pursuit :unimpressed:

Dave gets that.

But what Dave is saying is if we can't say fakkit on tv, then why is he allowed to say ****** (not nikka) with impunity.

The standard should be applied to both, yet ****** is allowed.

The executives tried to reason that Dave is not gay so he is not allowed to say fakkit
Then why is he allowed to say ****** (not nikka) then?:mjpls: Because he's a what?:mjpls:
Basically what Dave is saying if you he can't say fakkit, the standard should be applied to all slurs

Yet the double standard exists with ******.

Why is that so?

Because the gay community have white men in their group, giving their community more power and influence over other
oppressed groups.

Black people are not prioritized as much as the lgbt community and that is a bigger point that Dave is making

So the policy is please don't offend this group

Yet they have no problem making him say another offensive slur, ****** in this case

There are so many layers to this.

This joked showed the hypocrisy and just how deeply ingrained ****** is. It made perfect sense for her (and alot of people) for dave to say ******. It goes to show you that lowkey thats what they will always see us as 1st. I can't even remember the last time I've heard fakkit used outside of maybe rap and this special. They don't even let gay people use it freely.

But ****** yeah through that into the movie/show or song as artistic expression or if the "blacks" want to use it let them.

That Joke had levels too it.

man can you get that stick out of your ass. its a fukking standup special
It is. And it's funny

BUT

Whenever comedians perform jokes while trying to make a point, and people start agreeing with the point, I always try to make sure the point is a valid one. When jokes become being used as sensible reasons for people to be bigoted is important to nip it in the bud.

It's like the ******s vs black people joke Chris Rock told. shyt was funny but whites who wanted to be bigoted took the shyt to another level

Yeah...I get it and agree with almost everything you're saying. My opposition is the execution and the fact that (unlike what you're saying at the end there) no one is forcing him to say nikka. He's saying it because he wants to. So this comes off as "if I can say nikka I should be able to say all the slurs." If you're gonna make the claim that the LGBT community is more powerful (which I agree they are) you have to make a better case than he did.

Outside of this as a serious discussion though... Love the stand up

:heh:

But just in case you're not being facetious, are you implying everyone should be allowed to say nikka if they say they're own slur specific to their own groups?

Everyone is allowed to say nikka but there are two types of ppl in the world; those prepared for the consequences and those who aren't :unimpressed:. If it were up to me I'd copyright the word and have the fines go to the black community.

I disagree. You are missing the point.

He is not forced to say fakkit either but he was forced to stop using fakkit yet wasn't forced to stop using ******.

It's not about "if I can say nikka I should be able to say all the slurs."

It's about why allow him to say something that he is not forced to say (****** in this case), yet put the breaks on fakkit? Why not put the breaks on ****** as well?
Why?
Because the networks do not hold black people and the lgbt community in the same regard.
They don't mind a black guy screaming ****** at the top of his lungs on tv but go :whoa: when he says fakkit
Why not have the same :whoa: attitude when he says ******? That is the point.

Instead they have the bullshyt logic :"but you're not gay."
Yet it makes sense for Dave to say ******.:mjpls:

If you can't see that then we can agree to disagree.
