The intent of Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix comedy special, Sticks And Stones, is stated right there in the title.
Much of Chappelle’s brilliance has always been his unwavering commitment to honesty, his unique ability to make his act feel less like a performance and more like an interesting conversation with an eloquent, opinionated friend, one that happens to be obscenely funny.
It’s a rare skill, put to exceptional use in his previous Netflix standup, Bird Revelation, in which Chappelle pulls back the curtain, comparing the practices of the entertainment industry to the exploitative cruelty of a pimp.

I loved this special...only a handful of comedians dead or alive possess the talent to make something that was as funny but so gottdamn true about the state of present day society....he broke down the contradictory nature of current day Murica SEAMLESSLY whilst providing thought provoking humor...one of the best standups of the last 20 years easily

I don't. And the articles target I'd assume a white demographic but it's demographic is very specific. And it's likely the type audience Chappelle clowns in his show.
Vice and Forbes are the top ones I've found that's having this criticism of his special . .. And of course other lesser networks will do spin offs of the same work. Media is controlled by the ones setting a world agenda so we basically here sitting in animal farm being fed information by the pigs that four legs good, two legs bad.
The articles both take the same vein and it's not coincidence. It almost sounds like talking points politicians use across all platforms to spread certain propaganda. Once it's there enough some people are bound to lean in that direction and agree with it. Especially if it's cleverly written or done.
I'm not a huge fan of media in that, nowadays, what's reported is usually something put out to sway public opinion, and to weaponize the masses to create a collective conscious that changes worldly outcomes.
