I believe it is a relic from SOHH, but essentially you receive a notification when your post is dapped but not when it is undapped. As such, when you click on the verification notice you are redirected to the post but there is no more dap. It's a subtle move but it wastes some of their time, which is a fair response to wasting your time with a shytty thread/post
