he didnt start anything but he certainly is the most influential quarterback over today's league - which he just so happens to be active in.

so yea, he can beat his chest.......just as long as he uses better wording.

was the first opposing qb to win a game in green bay in the playoffs.. that was huge
that was one game. He literally had one big win his whole career. Not sure how old some of you are, but the disrespect to the older players is shameful in here. Vick didn't change a thing. In order to effect change, you have to be a winner, which he was not. Cunningham ran just as well as he did and was a much better passer.

Vick was very effective so far as running and overall playmaking goes. Although Philip Rivers has better passing statistics than Vick and is arguably more effective, he hasn't inspired a generation of QBs. This example proves that a player doesn't have to be a great player to inspire. Vick's play was unique and he was first to do what he did as far as those who watched him are concerned. His play has inspired millions of imitators and made a dent in people's lives. Vick has said in interviews that he gets hailed by NFL players all the time.
Nobody's talking about Rivers or any other pocket passers. This is about saying Vick "started" a trend which is untrue. Young won a SB in '94 and Cunningham beasted as a running QB not too long before Vick came along. This is just another example of revisionist history and the ever typical youthful shortsightedness we commonly see in here.

what you saying sounds nice..but its not reality. prime Vick is of the most exciting players in football history. the league is full of his clones now that's undisputed. he changed the game way more than a McNair, Stewart or Cunningham

who are all these clones?
Kap, Wilson, etc... are much more like Randall.
Vick is the only one that runs first...maybe Cam, but he also has the same accuracy issues.

He revolutionized the running QB but he wasn't the first to use his feet as a threat. Vick just took it to the next level with his speed and quickness which nobody was ready for at the time.

ONE big win his whole year ? What about what he did to McNabb and Washington that same season, that doesn't count ?

Your hating now, dude had tons of big plays that contributed to big wins throughout his carry, take a b12 shot and calm down....

1)...So how many big games did Randall win??

2) Tim Tebow wasn't much of a winner either, he didn't change things?

The disrespect to Kordell Stewart in here is disgusting. He was not the best by a long shot. But to not even see his name brought up?:stopitslime:

I mean Vick is 2-3 in the playoffs.

That Washington game was a historical performance and I enjoyed it as an eagles fan, but later that season, he began to get figured out and fell off.
