I don't believe it.

Kneeling once a week for 16 weeks is a lot different than kneeling 3-4x a week for 6-8 months and answering questions about it damn near every day. Hopefully someone does something but I really doubt they do something worthy.

i wonder how massa silver gonna handle it? The NBA unlike the NFL has a rule demanding players stand. will he fine the whole leauge? I bet if they sat for gay rights he would back them up :mjpls:
said it once & I'll keep saying it. This is the elephant in the room. Every cause except those primarily dealing with US gets addressed & respected. If this was a gay or domestic violence issue people would be applauding Kap. We so quick to ride for others but don't get the luv back

GOAT league has rules that you MUST stand for the national anthem.. no ifs, ands or buts... if you don't, they can suspend you after the very first time and you don't get paid

we'll see what they do come season starting
That rule will be changed or not enforced. NBA is the most progressive major American sports league, plus the tide of reaction to this entire thing has already began to swing in Kaep's favor as more people break down what it actually means and detractors expose themselves with their responses.

Anyone taking part in this should welcome the daily questions as a huge oppurtunity to discuss and further shine a light on the issue. You're using your platform, thats the entire point. Its not something to shy away from or acquiesce to the cowardly attempts to shift the issue to the troops and all that other nonsense.

I'm glad if it does

But that is going to make listening to the TNT broadcast unbearable.

Shaq and barkley are even worst discussing politics and social issues than they are talking basketball, and they are pretty bad talking basketball. Hopefully Kenny smith and Chris webber can bring some kind of sanity and truth to the discussion on the set and open court.

Thats ok Kenny will shyt on them like usual and bring some sense to the table. Kenny Smith might be a little corny with shattered knees but the lefrak queens never left him. He aint a bytch like shaq

I dont think all the owners will vote, it'll just be something that like I said, Silver changes himself or more likely just doesnt enforce with a safe "the NBA supports our armed forces and also supports anyone's right to peacefully protest, this is a worthy issue that we must all continue to address and work toward, yadda yadda."

Like I said, the NBA is progressive, the tide is already blowing in the protestors' favor now, they already dealt with Sterling and Silver had a very progessive response to that, theyve actually had first hand experience of an NBA player being brutalized by police and all the implications that go with that, they already had the Chris Jackson situation 20 years ago...I dont see Silver ignoring all that and turning around and sending a "shut up and fall in line" message to his players this season. :yeshrug:

Having said all that...if he's smart he wont schedule any games on November 11th :mjpls:

Word.

These guys are the most brand safe fake activist players ever. They will ride the fence so hard this season until another person like D-Rose protests and makes it safe for them to take a pseudo-stand. shyt, Bron scared to call out cops in his own state when kids are getting gunned down. It's a shame really.

Add Dwight Howard to the list. Hawks are doing an alllivesmatter ass pre-season game in October. :scust:
