You can’t have a show like this go mainstream without having FIRST subtly changed the dynamic from ratchet/sensationalized bullshyt like Love & Hip Hop and Real Housewives to more..shall we say “civilized” programming


It will literally takes YEARS, maybe a full decade before that type of counter-programming takes affect. And it has to be done not just in reality tv, but scripted content, movies, commercials, etc.


Hollywood has been feeding audiences shyt for so long that anything remotely approaching “quality” will be written as “boring” or “unexciting” especially when it comes to the dating/romance genre.
