I hated that Nas had to call the Roots "porch monkeys" cause they played that MTV Jay - Z set ...... that would have been a depressing beef to endure... one of the my favorite groups and favorite solo artists in lyrical conflict...

Nas apoligized for it,wonder if he two wayed em....and I lost respect for Blackthought for lettin that shyt slide too...had an oppurtunity to gain respect he is deserved as an emccee but apparently he wuz still caught up in the ether hype,why else let another man call you a porch monkey in front of millions and the entire hiphop world unless its true or becuz you scared...I don't think Nas apoligized quickly enuff to not have caught a diss ecord his way if I remember correct.....is there anybody Nas has shook hands with or made a promise to he hasn't double crossed?

I'm glad they didn't get into it. I would've been conflicted. Nas is my all time #1 and Thought is about my all time 4 or 5.

Having kicked it with Thought a few times he is far from frail. He's actually pretty stocky.

the things is it wasn't even really about Black Thought, it was about ?uestlove and the Roots band. far as i know Black Thought wasn't even there during unplugged, the bamboozled shyt was just an extra jab but that wasn't what it was about. so I never really saw it as Nas vs Black Thought, more like Nas vs ?uestlove.
