And the only reason the timing is weird is cause of the label fukkery not wanting Kendrick on the song and shyt.It’s actually crazy that there’s people that think that what Travis did isn’t an issue - he asked Pharrell to produce a track on his album but then had Pharrell getting dissed on another song in the same project. That’s nasty enough in itself but what’s more egregious is that you then crashed his studio session to play him the album and do your monkey dance but didn’t play him the verse with him getting dissed, only then to release it the next week.
And the people taking issue with Pusha picking up on this and crying about him picking up the beef for Pharrell are clearly missing the fact that the diss was also targeted at Push - “Your bosses chains” is clearly aimed at Pusha so Travis went to the studio session with the Clipse there, dapped up everyone like it was love then released the track the next week with them getting dissed on it.
People may not like the timing but there’s not one scenario here where Pusha’s wrong for this….
