Yea, even in NY everybody and their mother was playing Jeezy around when 101 came out. Schools even was banning those snowman tshirts because kids all over was wearing them. Jeezy was really BIG for a couple years.

Not that far fetched. Around 2005 and '06 Jeezy was really big. He's saying "at that point" so I'm assuming he's talking about those years.

No question…but even then you have to preface your statement. Kingdom Come was bullshyt but still had a huge marketing campaign and sold almost 700k first week. Does he mean around the way?

These takes some of these outlets put out are horrible. Jay had UGK & Scarface on his songs early on, those are staple artists of the south. Maybe they didn’t know much about him but it didn’t start with just Jeezy.
