Who’s writing for him then?
Don't know who's doing it now, probably Shoota, or another Byrd Gang affiliate. I never respect a pen that I knew had people writing for him for years.
And I like Jim's music, but I think he's overrated, even album wise. Cam has at least 3 albums that blow Jim jones best album out of the water. Jones has nothing in his catalog approaching SDE, Come Home with Me or Purple Haze.
