My point was simple. The education system is the problem, not the students. An amorization table is used to calculate loans. It shows the principle, interest and time to pay them off. Mainly finance and accounting students know it. Still in my opinion everyone should because it is something that can impact them individually. Personally I don't blame the kids. We are in a country where colleges are more known for the athletics programs than quality of their education. Now how fycked up is that. :martin:
Your point has nothing to do with this thread. Those kids were asked simple questions about shyt you learn pre-HS. you also didn't spell the word correctly, yet you expect someone to know what it is :snoop:

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
this is quite bullshyt. Most kids are not taking advanced math, they take what's on par with their grade level

Ex: the vast majority of kids are taking Geometry in 10th grade and don't touch math classes in their senior year....it's been like that since i was in high school (20 years ago)

Uh, no. There are several reports on this. Mathematics didn't even have a standard curriculum across the country until recently. Your mom and grandma definitely wasn't taking the same math as your kids are now.

Teahers didn't even really know how to teach math in the 1990's. They weren't really teaching it well.

And according to Pew Trust "Gen Zers have higher high school graduation rates and lower dropout rates than those who came before them, and they are more likely to be in college. In 2017, 59 percent of 18- to 20-year-olds were in college, compared with 53 percent of Millennials and 44 percent of Gen Xers at similar ages."

Not gonna lie that was pretty bad lol but
This is a right wing channel off the rip.
Videos like these are clearly bias as they never or rarely show people who did answer the questions right.
Some of these questions are basically pointless. why should I know and care exactly where Mt Rushmore is as long as I know it’s not in another country lol
Also if nikkas think the older generations that haven’t been in school for decades are gonna kill these questions :mjlol:
Don’t know why people take these videos seriously

Gen Z still more educated than all of the previous generations. They're taking math their fathers and grandfathers took in college. Yeah some things have slipped but older generations really don't want to go there if we're comparing a current high school curriculum to theirs.

Most Adults Can’t Answer These Questions :skip:
Across All Generations:skip:
Don’t know what you were trying to achieve with this thread but as you were:skip:
For real. That ain’t no Gen Z thing. That’s an American thing. I’m sure a good number of posters parents on here can’t answer some of the questions

you lumped in fathers of current students breh, now you're moving goalposts. my daughter is in HS right now....Geometry is essentially the base-level math class for a sophomore. I graduated in 03, it was the same back then breh :gucci:

also, more kids graduating than before is not necessarily a valid stat. they have lower dropout rates because they get their hand held and more second chances than we ever did. When I was in school, there were no D's (60-68 or 69 dependent on school district) it went ABCF, anything below a 70 was failing. Now teachers in some districts can't give below a 50 on graded assignments even if you scored lower. HS in 2022 is a cake walk compared to what i went through two decades ago, and i transferred to a less than preferred school district. they're not allowed to outright fail students any more because they're afraid of losing funding & dealing with disgruntled parents.

:russ: at all the "this has to be fake". This is basically what older people see when interacting with young people.

Take away a Gen X smartphone is like leaving them stranded in a blizzard.
