I've purchased GCU up until 2020. I don't see a catch. The only negative is you might buy games you normally wouldn't because they cost less.

Not sure if this would classify as a deal but this game Foul Play is pretty dope and you can cop it as low as 2 dollars (plus a big chunk of your purchase money goes to charity). It's a beat 'em up where you can put together massive combo's. The health gauge/audience system makes technique important in spite of really simple controls and chaining your attacks for big combo's is crucial. I copped it since the cost was low and the cause seemed noble, but I haven't been able to stop playing it.

You should definitely take advantage and have people use your account to buy games too.
