Linear games
Movie games (more cutscenes than actual gaming)
Forcing me to do a mission a specific way
Excessive XP grinding. Some is expected, but it can be too much
Microtransactions
Having to be connected to the internet
Bosses that input read - happens more in "hard" games (basically Elden Ring level of difficulty and harder).
The issue is you're fighting XYZ Boss, and you hit a button to perform an attack. The boss counters your move when you press the button, not when your character does the action. Like you tap "X" to attack but there's a split second before the character you're controlling onscreen actually DOES the attack. The boss isn't reacting to the character movement but rather your button press...at least it can feel that way.
Action/RPG games where my decisions don't appear to have any consequences. One of the reasons I loved Witcher 3 is it felt like my choices actually had an impact on the direction of various storylines. Kinda sucks playing a game where the end result ends up being almost the same despite having a bunch of different paths you can take.
