so Ive been playing mlb the show 2008 the past few months as the yankees

going into my first year I got rid of Johnny Damon, Giambi, Mussina, Pettit

I picked up Josh Hamilton, CJ Wilson, Ervin Santana, Kendra Morales, Greinke

first year won the World Series against the Brewers

going into my second year, Mariano retired along with Posada

I added Votto, Granderson, Ankiel, and David Wright (free agency)

Didnt make the playoffs


3rd year, I only added F. Hernandez who was signed by the Padres in free agency. traded Jeter and Chamberlin to Padres to Pick up Hernandez and another pitcher

im 10-10 and already 7 games behind Red Sox, and like 3.5 games back in wildcard. If I dont make the playoffs this year, I might have to get smarter in my roster...but im making a lot of money.

In my season playing as the A's, I'm in the ALCS against the Indians, going to Game 6 at home up 3 - 2, Barry Zito pitching for me (And hes pitching today in real life too )
