These are the only two I can think of that have actually been good AND accurately appropriate the game they were based off of.

The first couple of Resident Evil movies were fun romps I suppose, but the franchise has never been true to the games.

We are supposed to get Assassins Creed with Michael Fassbender, and Splinter Cell with Tom Hardy...hopefully they don't fukk em up. Both could be pretty decent if done right, Assassins Creed in particular. I see Splinter Cell ending up as a run of the mill espionage flick, hard to say whether it will catch on like Bourne or end up like, well, Hitman. AssCreed on the other hand, with the mixture of the historical aspect, with the science fiction, might end up ill if done right.
