Theres an age limit for playing video games? did you make up this rule in your mind? A part of being a mature adult is learning not to give a fukk about things that don't matter like your opinion about what I chose to do with my time. I live the life I want to lead as thats what adults do. Me playing some Tekken 8 at 39 years old isnt hurting you, sir. Im sure you watching basketball tonight isnt hurting me and you dont see shaming you for being a fan.

I don't play games nowhere near as much as I use to because I have other hobbies. I feel like the same women that complain about a guy playing a game would get on me for spending 4 hours outside in the garden, or 4 hours crafting a table, or 4 hours working on a motor, etc...

They upset about gaming when it could easily be something else taking time away from them. I guess they might feel like my hobbies are "productive" but they won't reap the rewards

I used to game real heavy. I have a monster pc setup. I only play like every other month now. Gaming takes a lot of time, but when I'm hooked on a game, I'm playing it nonstop until I beat it.

You know when GTA VI comes out, I'm doing nothing but playing that game until I beat it. Taking vacation days, only hanging with my girl for 2 hours at a time. Not watching TV. That's gonna be a generation defining game.

I wish i gamed more. I only hop on fighting games now because i can play a quick 20 mins and leave.
There's nothing wrong with playing games for fun but don't let it be a surrogate. Don't use anything to hide away from every day life.
I'd argue games as a pass time are better than getting your brain and spirit pimped out by algorithms and propaganda on social media.

Mario Kart don't count either. Everybody and they mama casually pick up and play Mario kart from time to time. Quick games like Mario is socially acceptable


Whats looked down on is the Game heads playing Elden Ring, blood Bourne, bg 3, etc. real nerd shyt.
