Nah this fire
That chorus and shyt live had me weak
Someone on here explained that a lot of these new artists are signed to the labels that own these samples. So the labels are basically doubling their moneyHow all these new artists can afford these samples? Label taking 125%
Such a stupid critiqueOnce again, NY Drill is what people thought Snap was in the 2000s. Worst production style by far. Every single beat sounds the same outside of a very lazy sample splashed over it.
Y’all don’t want sampling in fukking hip hop anymore
NY drill is fukking trash. So glad that shyt is seemingly dying down after none of these end up popping. So many of these nikkas would sound better outside of this predictable shyt.
Fivi album was decenthis whole debut album was basically that. it was god awful. no way they weren't in the red after that bullshyt.
In some cases, maybe, but that is a good point. For this particular song, the original sample that "Oochie Wally" used was from an artist named Gong from their 1975 album, "Shamal". Released on Virgin Records. Virgin's catalog is owned by Universal Music Group. CMG is under Interscope, which is UMG, so maybe this one was easy to clear.Someone on here explained that a lot of these new artists are signed to the labels that own these samples. NY drill is not even close to dead
This song is wack because it’s a lazy formulaic cash grab this shouldn’t be an indictment on all NY drill beats shyt Sweepers and 41 got some of the most interesting beats out now
