yup and that's why it's iffy.. i hear the same shyt from my crew.. "nikkas wanna hear you on that hard shyt" ok but these nikkas won't show up for a free show and definitely ain't gonna call the radio and request shyt. they can't play all that hard shyt on the radio either.. and really, unless the label calls for you, or 100k people are calling to demand you, good luck ever getting on the radio
so at some point you gotta make that choice.. white women buy the most albums, followed by white men, then black women, then black men.... are you gonna cater to the money, or cater to your people. and what is your plan when your people don't support you financially????
somewhere sean p knows this.. he keeps it hard.. those nikkas ain't helping him sell shyt or calling up hot 97 in an uproar.. i bet nobody from this thread ever even called up... so hot 97 don't care about you. or sean p. period.
now if sean p had a drake feature next week that all the little girls bought on itunes and called up to hot 97 to get play... suddenly he'd be up there getting interviewed and having his song spun 2039423094 times a day. such is the music game
