Agreed. We need to start running people in local/state elections and build a coalition of like-minded black folks who aren't beholden to the current political system. It's not impossible, but it would be difficult, and would still require money. Look at the Tea party (what they represent is awful) - it was a grassroots movement that worked, but it was also bankrolled by billionaires.

this country has been established that there is a different political/judiciary system for people with money/power then those without..and yes race and colonialism is included in that equation
