The fact that these Republicans going so hard over something kind of had me suspicious. They have had a hard on for the Clintons since the 90s. This aint a big deal to anyone but them, but it just feels like they are grasping straws. Is what she did unethical? Yes. Illegal? Maybe. Worthy of the millions of dollars they spent? Hell no. I think you touching on why im somewhat ambivalent about this whole ordeal. Im a visceral person.
She broke the law however no one ever says what wide ranging cataclysmic event resulted from her breaking the law. Yea i know Benghazi is related in there, but lets face it, no one outside of the GOP really gives a fukk. So its more about principle at this point.
I talk to people all day every day. Ive never had a convo about her emails except for with two people. Both work in my office. Both are middle aged white guys. Both are conservative rednecks. Both get furious at me for not sharing their RAGE towards this woman about her emails. They want me to be as upset as they are. They start cussin and gettin all red faced and angry.
What am I upset about? Im upset that my cousin went to Afghanistan and lost his life in the middle of a desert for imperialism based on a lie. See i can directly trace something that a former elected official did that affected my life. I dont care about the semantics of law and what laws Bush and company broke. They went to war on a lie and 5000 ppl died. For that I wont ever forgive them.
The other point is that i follow the rules of the Art of War. Enemy of my enemy is a friend. Now this quote only somewhat applies to the Clintons. I cant stand them and i think they are morally bankrupt........however i hate the Rush Limbaughs and Sean Hannity's of the world even more. And nothing, and i mean nothing gets them furious like Hillary. Its been like that for 25 years. The typical Trump ideology is on the opposite end of the spectrum for me.
