Yeah brehs.....Amongst regular folk, I was always considered an exceptional shooter.

"Yo his J is sick!!:gladbron:......."Hot Hands!:whoo:" ........."Boy got ice in his veins!!:damn:" They'd say.

So when you get to an NBA game early and watch a "scrub" like PJ Tucker hit more 3's in a row than you ever have in your life,

It's pretty damn humbling.....In case you're wondering, my personal record for 3's without a miss sits at 22 straight.

And that was the college 3!

Watching PJ Tucker nail 23 NBA 3's in a row- CASUALLY--Like it was just another day at the office--Had me sitting in the stands like

svxrPtN.gif

I was only 15 when I hit those 22 straight, tho.Had I stayed focused on B Ball throughout my life, I'd probably smoke Pj Tucker.

Plus I was a gamer.I shot better in-game.You feel the importance behind each shot. It's different than practice.

When the stakes are high, my focus turns razor sharp. That's the difference between me and a scrub like PJ Tucker:ufdup:

My high school teammate Andy played at West Point in the early 2000’s and he got me tickets to the Duke game so I took my homeboy Pat and was bragging about how cold Andy was. I saw Andy hit 75/100 3’s. I rebounded for him.

He got in the game and Donte Jones picked him up. I’m looking at the matchup like Duck was looking at JT in the 5 heartbeats :myman:on some Work it, Andy Work IIIIT!

Long story short, Andy ended the game scoreless.

Pat was looking at me like, the best shooter you ever seen, huh :scust: The schools in Japan must be talentless.

It was so embarrassing. I knew he wasn’t going pro but I gauged my talent off his. He’d beat me 8-6 in one on one. He was more talented than me but I was the superior athlete by a long shot.

I never once held him scoreless. Both of our souls were crushed that day :mjlol:

My Fr year in HS when CP3 was a Jr....I called him out during lunch for 1 on 1 (backstory: I hit a growth spurt late..I was the short/funny/frail freshman) anyway, that nikka made me look so stupid when he crossed me :dead::russ::wow:

but I've balled w/ some lower tier D1 players and even they're next level compared to ya avg. Pros make them look like chumps :pachaha:

sitting courtside at an NBA game should be something every one of the "I can guard ..." folks should do

I recommend this for anyone who talks shyt about these players. Once you sit there and watch how big these guys are, how fast the game moves, how physical it is down low, and just how little space is out there on the court you get a greater appreciation for them. So realize, the top tier that can wake up and get 20 without trying, are really, really, fukking good.

Good point with how tight the spacing actually is in person when r/t their size and speed. It def had me :ohhh: the first time I got to see a game close up. They can close quick as fukk and even a “slow” release is pretty fast compared to your typical b-ball player

Depression in black males is so understated and our idiotic hypermasculine ass culture tries to shame our own men from showing any kind of emotion or vulnerability in fear of looking “soft.” I fukking hate it man. :snoop:

RIP to the kid. You’d never think he was going through all that simply off the vid. :mjcry:
