JUST LIKE I SAID, go ahead and keep thinking it was a great album if you want to. ye told you it wasnt all that, it was just him spazzing out mad that he couldnt design clothes. You basically had a album full of verses that said "you dont have the answers Sway." With minimal music(his own words).

You tell me, an album full of those type lyrics mixed with a non musical sound as the backdrop. do you think that sounds like a Very good album? I dont.

yee is a classic top level schitzo artist. similar to pac. one day you're calm and cool talking about brenda got a baby and making dear mama joints. the next your talking about thug passion and hit em up.

it is what it is. People period have dual personalities. the devil on one shoulder God on the other. it is what it is.

at times you get pissed and start losing some of your sanity. which is what he does. i remembered in an interview he said something that made me finally understand Ye and those like him with his scenario. because he almost died years ago. he feels as if he has to rush to do things because unlike the rest of us that dont recall that moment when we literally almost died, ye did remember that moment and it made him realize how short life could be. i've seen other people that have been in really bad accidents that survived or caught some crazy illness out the blue and barely made it thru. They get really antsy. And they be borderline spazzing out at times. This is why.

I feel like with interviews, it's easy to get a picture and perception of them just off that and then when you have other interviews reinforcing it, it's easy to blur everything else out and go wtf is up with fam. Yeezus is kinda the reflection of frustration and comes across sonically as nothing but barking. Thinking about it, now Yeezus kinda feels like solely reactionary and more on the same plain than his other albums. I ain't mad at it and can enjoy it, but I'm eager to hear his next shyt.

I feel like Yeezus was praised by folks because of how sonically and lyrically and not following the usual formula. When I mean lyrically, I'm not trying to say he was saying much, but it felt so direct and to the point. Like he wasn't trying to rap. He was gettin shyt off his chest and shyt happened to rhyme. Now hopefully, Kanye is back to rapping cuz he wants to rap not just to vocalize his frustration.

I agree but he contradicts himself more glaring than others and that is not a positive trait.

like the other poster said. he type of figure is what yee was speaking on. well guess who has Kim's type of figure that the fashion industry has shunned for decades? black women. So even if we're talking about Kim K and her white self. if all of a sudden her blackish looking figure became the hot look for the future or at least one OF the hot looks on the side of the rail thin models we see today. Then you may just see more sistas getting run. Granted it will probably be more light skin sistas. but gotta start some where. lol
