Good interview so far. Feel like I'm watching something different when reading the posts on the first few pages :ld:

Ray J made One Wish:banderas:,and is the brother of one of the greatest female vocalist of all time...No need to talk like he a lil nikka:whoa:....Wiz on the other hand:mjlol:

Kanye actually came off okay in this interview.

I think these interviews just show why it's sometimes difficult to like dude. Usually when he gets passionate about something and is met with opposition whether it's merely a different opinion, his belief in himself is blurred and can be read as arrogance. It's like solar flares when his big dreams are in question or under attack.

You didn't think he came across more likeable in this interview:patrice:?...I liked the fact he said he talks into the future a lot,but I hope he realizes that can make you appear like you bullshytting and a flip flopper:comeon:...Its especially a bad combination when you passionate like he is,because when you speak passionately you speak as if you mean RIGHT NOW and FOR CERTAIN like its already written in ston:heh:....People who don't speak in such a concrete fashion have the luxury to flip flop and not be held to the same standard...its really a bad combination of character traits, to speak into the future when passionate peoples minds and ideas change by the day:mindblown:

I think he needs more belief in his beliefs and ideas actually before he puts them out there to the public:russ:...or to tone the passion down a notch knowing his mind his subject to change a lot, which I felt like he did in this interview compared to the last one....I thought it was dope.

People who are passionate and hardheaded and stuck in they ways are a lot more easier to understand and appreciate, even though that can be a weakness in its own way:heh:...End of the day I gotta appreciate passionate folks

Dope ass interview, yeezy is maturing media wise :salute:

Happy he didn't do that collab. Woulda been akward, drake is a sub dissing ass mceee. I dont think he can match ye on the content

Not to mention Drake outrapping him which would likely happen would only elevate Drake...he don't have much to gain, best he should do is just produce a Drake album if his production talent is still there...but can anybody really say Kanye is better than 40?he's the best thing Drake got goin for himself:banderas:

The thing is, before it was really about him getting locked out of the fashion world and he called his own issue a civil rights movement. It was wil. At a certain point you stop and think, if I did not love this guy's music, would I vouch for this?
I understand why most wouldn't especially people who work for or aspire to be in that world. It's again cuz whatever he's passionate about the stuff he says and especially the way it's delivered comes with some exaggeration and comes across like he feels like he should be able to regardless of the way things work there. So yea it comes across like a kid not being able to get a new toy but someone in his position would love to do things they want to do and if shaking things up is part of it so be it. At least here in this interview, you hear him give credit to the people he work with and speak about everything as collaborative.

So yea it's easy like I said to not like him. He rubs people the wrong way cuz he wants things now and wants things to run at his speed all the while talking about himself and his trouble. He wants to be a man of the people but it's hard to see when he's not in the position to sell things at prices he wants (while still making a profit) due to peeps working with him not ready to put so much stock in him creatively and financially.

Here's the thing, I've played the role of defending Kanye for years. I've played the role you're in right now. At a certain point, the message cannot be justified by the behavior. I never once doubted Kanye West was a good dude, but I will always question his maturity. Charlemagne got it right when he said Kanye is a likeable dude who gives people so many reasons not to like him based on his presentation. He turned who the heck is Beck into an indictment of Kanye West's character.
