Not really if i remember correctly he was always under the radar going back to college, he had buzz but one was labeling him a sure thing elite prospect......People forget now but he was really getting dogged for his inconsistencies before that 1st championship season, calling him soft and strictly a jump shooter..

At the time people weren't checking for light skinned jump shooting players like that. Can't really blame GMs for not picking him in the top 3 at most people thought he was gonna be a role player.

I know Warrior fans that were upset because they thought he'd be a soft jump shooter. They didn't think he'd be a good defensive player. I think playing defense is what got Klay the respect he gets.
