If you paying homage to C2 Wayne you gotta go harder than that, for a Durk song it did what it needed to do tho
:manny:
I mean, ain't nobody replicating that ever again lol. I just appreciate that the homage is being shown. I'd like to hear an album full of this type of production on Smurk's next project. He has a tendency to get heavy-handed with the same types of beats on his albums

The production sound like a modernized Mannie, this actually what Wayne need to be rapping over not that bunk shyt he just put out.

As far as Durkio, he should continue on this format but expand it a little… hit up Justice League, Cool & Dre, Don Canon..as far as new producers ATL Jacob . His next album should be his Meek “Championships”.

I feel like Baby had the momentum to take over and he misstepped. Its up for grabs, imo.

I agree with everything you said, especially about Wayne. I hate the beats Wayne chooses these days. Beats like this and those soul samples be having Wayne in god mode.

:francis:

you sleep...you ever listen to any of em? My pallet diverse AF....I rock with 80s shyt....underground shyt....trap shyt....WC shyt.....whatever.

I'm telling you he the 1 and talented AF.

He wasn't all that at first either. He was the weakest when that drill scene popped. He grinded and got better. N now he the last man standing for a reason.

IDK your taste but durkio firing on all cylinders.
