I don't get this logic, and I never will..Why do black ppl go-in on White guilt? Why wouldn't you(from a strategic standpoint) want white allies battling other whites in a cultural civil war? Why is White self examination and self correction so bothersome to some black ppl? Yeah, let’s hangout with the White people and eat in their restaurants the day after they spat on us. Now they get even more money, while calling us the n-word behind our backs. Meanwhile, we abandoned the black businesses, and now we want to cry when we don’t get hired, or have to give our kids resume friendly names, or our women are told to straighten their hair at work.
Considering they hold the vast majority of power and authority positions, yes, we do have to care because too many of them have the power to ruin our lives, and make things difficult. A black doctor doesn’t experience less racism because he “worked hard”. This isn’t about being friends and hanging out. It’s about quality of life.
