It's becoming inflated by Californians coming in. Also these housing contractors are explicitly making homes for high incomes so people are getting pushed out.

My girlfriend and I look at houses in the market regularly.
Yeah them Cali cacs are fukking the game up.

They getting the hell out of Cali and will do the same things here that they did there.

I’ll buy property as a single person and if I’m married. Not buying property with a “girlfriend”.

Exactly, if shyt doesn’t work out then what. Sounds like a potential nightmare to me

:mindblown:The divorce rate is 50%.

I don't understand why people, in 2020, are still looking at marriage as "stable" outside of being religious.

Them being married doesn't guarantee shyt or create stability.

Only 5% of married ppl have a prenub, so, a divorce would cause the same issues a "regular breakup" would.

Chances of divorce decrease incrementally if the couple is aligned/equally yoked on topics of faith, money, family & children.

Also, if the chances of divorce is allegedly at 50%, then what are the rates for regular couples. It would be quite naive to think regular couples had lower breakup rates.

I read about this a Couple weeks ago, apparently because of the influx of people from Cali. Builders are only building luxury homes.

I'm not sure what you mean by "regular"

My issue isn't anything but people throwing a marriage between two people as if that a guarantee of loyalty. I think that's ridiculous.

Every time 345 people get married, 160 get divorced.

I’m using the term “regular” to reference couples that are not married.

People that share, or rather practice the same faith have lower divorce rates. Divorce Rate in the Church – As High as the World? - Focus on the Family

I’m done going back & forth, as it appears that I’m conversing with a person who is against marriage. Neither of us will change our minds.
