1. It's different in college. These dudes are your same age, competing for the same chicks as you etc. I never once asked for an autograph or no picture from a star college athlete. And as a result I wound up having several of them as friends. They respected that.

2. Pro-athletr is a little different, but still similar. As a man, I'd never wear a jersey of another man. Nor am I asking for an autograph. Nothing more than a "whatsup" or dap in most cases. If a conversation was possible then maybe that, but I'm not going out of my way. Plus they look down on ego-boosters.


Plus, you don't know what these dudes are like outside of a 48 min basketball game. So the other 21-22 hrs of the day, they are no better than you.

This. My boy plays in the NFL and I partied mutiple times with NFL players. They are all regular dudes. Fans run up on them all the time and say what up ect take pictures on their phones.
