I was reading this shyt and nikkas was really co-signing Ron Harper like he was the rawest nikka in the league. He was straight but damn. Somebody even threw out his stats 20/5/5 like it was so amazing....

Ricky Davis was putting up those numbers.

Bullshyt!! RD maybe averaged 20 for 3 straight seasons max. Harper was nice for about 7-9 seasons straight. I sware yall only watched ESPN all your lives

I'm gonna be honest before this gets out of hand

This wasnt even close to serious...it was a parody of elgin baylor thread, and was to show how a mixtape can make good players look Legendary...ron harper was NOT a legend, was NOT underrated, and was what he was....A good scorer who was athletic and helped the bulls get better, and kept the cavs and clips from being straight trash. He is a B- nba player.

I could post a larry hughes mixtape and make people agree how he was outstanding...come on yall

:heh:

Low key tho Ron harper stepping back to be a bull was integral to their second 3 peat. Vince carter / jerry stackhouse / Shawn kemp should've considered this. Vc did but later...

Ron wasn't a legend, but before the knee injury was a 20 pt scorer, a good defender, and someone who knew how to play. He was one of the glue guys on those Bulls and Lakers teams.

:scust: at the Cavs trading him to the Clippers for Danny Ferry and 2 first round picks(90 and 92). Those drafts had quality players in the mid first round to the second round. Guys like Kukoc, Elden Campbell, Antonio Davis, Jayson Williams, and PJ Brown.

If the Cavs had some of those guys maybe they could have given the Bulls more competition.

:stopitslime: at Danny Ferry getting drafted by the Clippers, refusing to sign, then going to Italy, and teams still hyping him up. Larry Bird made GMs overhype slow white small forwards who could shoot and pass a little thinking they were the next "Legend".

young ron harper was nasty. it's a shame that ACL surgeries weren't as advanced as they are nowadays or he could have continued to beast later on in his career.
