You do know the name Sprint will be phased out if that merger happens and he's gonna be the head of the new company still called T-Mobile don't you?

I read no article that says anything like that at all where did you hear that bull shyt ?

ONE source says he will retain title of CEO

but NOTHING says they will keep the name T-Mobile. If they do it, itll be like a Metro PCS thing, where it will slowly be phased out over the next few years. I believe I read some where around 2017 if the purchase goes through the T-Mobile name will be fully switched to Sprint or something around those timel ines

Even with the merge, T-Mobile still won't be powerful enough to take on the massive coverage and network AT&T and Verizon have amassed.

I know I might get flamed for this since dudes love T Mobile so much.... But I've believed that every move that they've been doing is just positioning to get bought out. They're not trying to expand their network or even make a profit.... Just adding subscribers. I'm not drinking the kool aid :sas1:

thats why the government is gonna allow the merge..

AT&T acquiring T-Mobile woulda leap frogged them over Verizon to be #1 and both would be so far ahead of the at the time struggling (still kind of is even though they been bought out by Soft bank) and it would of eventually just been Verizon vs AT&T 1vs1 instead of 1vs1vs1v1 and the FCC was scared of a monopoly of just 2 companies.

But with Sprint buying out T-Mobile through the help of 6 banks :merchant: they'll be more able to compete with AT&T and Verizon who are still so far ahead of Sprint and T-Mobile ill be honest in the years I worked for both companies, Sprint and T-Mobile were never in any emails or meetings :mjlol: when I worked at AT&T it was :pacspit: fukk Verizon they aint shyt :pacspit: in the emails / meetings and when i worked at Verizon they were way more passive but still if they brought up another company it was only AT&T. Sprint and T-Mobile never been on either radar coming from someone who worked at both AT&T and Verizon.

When Sprint and T-Mobile merge Sprint's brand will disappear and the merged company will be ran by Legere and his management team. It's basically then going to be T-Mobile from that perspective. The only problem is CDMA and GSM being different techs.

probably for FCC reasons, even in that video it says thats the 1st time anyones broke that news :yeshrug:
Why would that be for FCC reasons? It's because Sprint is a toxic brand and the guys that run it are doing a bang up job. They're obviously gonna let the new company be managed by T-Mobile's team because T-Mobile has consistent subscriber growth and was catching up to Sprint as #3.

Its not like Sprint is gonna own T-Mobile anyway. Softbank will own both of them.

Sprint is a toxic brand name, but still has more customers than T-Mobile by a noticeable amount (millions). I would think its to appeal to the FCC that says "look we arent even keeping the name Sprint which is in 3rd place, we will make this seem like its not that big of a deal by taking over the 4th largest in the market, T-Mobile name" or something like that you know how these mafukkas be havin loop holes n shyt
