If I had to guess, she made a solo version because she plans to make this a tour highlight song, and drake's near the end of his tour and getting his health right and won't be at any of the dates, so she made it a solo. Plus since it leaked, that kills a little bit of the charting potential. Dropping this makes it a little more "fresh"
