Aw man I'm supposed to be doing something RN but now I'm locked in :russ:
You gotta salute these brehs. I was too young when hip-hop first started; but I was of age when M&V popped off and the whole web series movement popped off. It really parallels hip-hop in so many ways. These brehs took lemons and made lemonade. Using cell phones for lighting....no school....no mentors...instructions sold separately..literally got it from the mud and just figured it out. Passion driven...and did it as a team. Made some really fly shyt....love peoples man its so inspiring :blessed:

shoutout to all the Brooklyn posters on here 2(I think we got a couple). I never crossed the bridges until I became a young adult...and the 90s and that whole section really is a special place. Some of the coolest brehs I've ever met and still have a strong relationship with came from over there and other parts of BK... that borough has a special magic in the air. Love 2 see it :salute:

20 mins in I gotta pause it for now but damn once you hear that bam Vito drop GET THE POPCORN BABE N BRING ME A BEER :damn:miss those days..use to be in a group chat and that shyt would be lit after the episodes dropped.....Can't wait to finish this reunion long overdo

OP I won't let me rep you but I'll get u back appreciate u

Smh… How do you fumble this? I bought a Tidal sub just to watch this show.

I remember hearing that some of the folks who were behind the scenes helping Moe put the stories together passed away.

Ultimately Moe grabbed a bunch of people who had no acting experience and made magic. He talks with this arrogant fatherly tone and no one in the cast says anything about it because he really did EVERYTHING. I would think a lot of offers they received to continue M&V came with significant cast & storyline changes.

:mjlol:They shoulda just kept going and never took any deals. Their popularity on Youtube alone would have gotten them paid.

That's not true. They needed a deal to continue, these folks weren't entertainers. How many parties could they host before people got tired of seeing them? Most would be forced to work regular jobs in the NYC area to stay available for filming. The show was put together in a wildly impractical manner.

Facts, I forgot all about the Tidal deal. This and respect life was my shyt :wow: I’m so out the loop with web series’, last one I fukked w was Pieces, but they never got traction/funding so that just stopped smh. Crazy how all 3 web series suffered the same fate in the end. Respect life drops a new episode once a year n shyt lol, but it ain’t been the same since Boom turned into a dust head

& let us not forget that Nunu Nellz helped ruin the show lol @FreshAIG
That was a weird situation. Dude really hasn't done anything since the show to make a case that he deserved more.
He had catty energy for Moe, then more catty energy for Nunu after the break up fiasco. Made me look at him look a certain way.

This was a really good watch. I loved how they kept it light and just reminisced and provided some behind the scenes stuff. Its a shame miz won't be a part of it. Gotta be more to the story.

Any word on part 2 OP?
