On another note, my instincts got me questioning some of yall being overly geeked to see gangstas on film. You seen one hood, you've seen em all. Couple of yall act like this video is providing safari footage or something. I understand the allure to this sh!t, but it aint nothing to glorify or cheerlead over. Especially if you already know that.

while i feel you there, you also gotta understand that this type of song/video has been wiped out of mainstream rap, there are a lot of us (including you) who grew up on harder shyt and/or recognize that life isn't simp drake anthems and strippers and chains, it's just a break to go back to a straight up aggressive track. i also don't think he glorified the lifestyle in the video. lastly, in the PC, "post-racial" new US we live in, i think hoods like this and plight still facing blacks has been swept under the rug. the late 80's-early 00's we and the greater society were forced to confront these issues and i feel like there was a lot of movement to try to create ways out, but this segment has been forgotten about IMO. i'm not trying to make this video some social statement, but it is a quick reminder that the hoods across america are still there and the issues haven't changed.
