Metal Gear Solid is the only answer.

I mean lets be honest, you spend 60% of the game watching cutscenes anyway, so just watching a movie wouldn't be much different than playing the game. Not bashing either.

Mgs is way too convoluted, over the top and ridiculous to be a movie.

Elder Scrolls could be decent GoT type fantasy cable show.

Mirror's Edge would be a cool flick.

Think you'd get better stories out of adapting most games as a mini series

- All the good Final Fantasy games like 7,8 & 10 with a more coherent story
- InFamous with a better story and characters
- Max Payne
- CGI Jak & Daxter with the goatee'd up a$$hole version of Jak from the 2nd game
- BioShock

I don't see it bro. Two completely different formats. Metal Gear Solid is my favorite franchise of all time but it basically already is a fukking movie.

I just think it's always going to come off corny no matter what. I hope we get a good one that provese wrong though

Halo, Last of Us, Metal Gear solid, Assassians creed, etc. Resident evil gave us the blue print. Comic movies will get stale eventually (after Infinity wars pt 2 crushes the buildings ) so i think video game movies will come to replace it. The script has already been basically written for you and this generation is growing up on video games, not comics. Its wide open, just have to wait on the first good one.
