Real talk, some people had probably gotten used to not having sports on during the lockdown. Even though the may be happy that sports is back, they probably aren't forcing themselves to watch as much of it as possible.
Ive been actually playing sports, since the pandemic started. Now that I know I could go out and play some 1 V 1.... I aint really trying to sit inside and watch hoops :yeshrug:

shyt is boring

the games have been great and competitive. If you need some yellin cacs to tune in then you don't like basketball :mjlol:

Nightly entertainment and fukkery. Playoffs gonna be lit too.

However, for those who don't like the sport... this is how they get their rocks off.

Nascar had low ratings last week and they was trying to blame it on Bubba. When ratings are strong, silence. Just the facts and quickly move on.

If ratings dip, find a negro or negro movement to blame and report the agenda. Clockwork.

Part of the problem for the NBA is there aren’t much “must see” players in the league or playoffs
Or a “villain team”

Kobe
Kyrie
Durant
Curry
Iverson
Derrick Rose
Boston BIG3
Miami’s BIG3
Warriors
Etc

nobody is rushing home to watch Kahwi, Giannis or Ben Simmons :yeshrug:

Real spit

NBA now is like watching a bunch of Spurs games during the Duncan, Parker and Ginobili days

:hhh:

That's not how ratings work. Nobody cares about the 50+ year old cacs and c00ns watching FOX News. NBA beats them in the 18-49 age demos which is all that advertisers care about.

Stay mad
Yup. I mentioned this in the other clickbait thread last week. Mark Cuban got at the tweet in fact.

How many TVs account for Bars, Restaurants or other public venues. Figure that out and you have your answer to the biggest variable in this discussion. A lot people dont sit at home and watch....

No one wants to watch Sacramento vs Indiana or Orlando vs Nets.

Too many bums playing rn. And most the stars are sitting out til playoffs.

Just showing you what his rebuttal was :whoa:

You keep posting agenda driven, crap who are more people going to tune into a mavs vs blazers game or fox news when Joe Biden just announced who his VP is, people want to hear more about that then sports/....

news is going to do more ratings in a pandemic time, with civil unrest in an election yr

NBA regular seaosn has never been good and with the unusual time it is situated sometimes people forget and some white people are turned off by the social issues being on display... it is what it is...

But the fact that alot of yall seem to be happy and cheer NBA poor ratings is making me wonder about this board

The numbers are the numbers.

Yall get too triggered by this when ironically this same board was throwing parties when the NFL numbers went down in 2017.

No one in this thread is saying the NBA is in trouble, its just a worthy discussion to wonder what factors are contributing to the low numbers. I even said I expect the numbers to go up for the playoffs.

What discussion are we getting from this, the NBA would be worried if it was normal times how can the NBA be worried about a timeframe we are in, and again what happened on tuesday in the world you ignore that part of the story and discussion...

WWE was doing 3's and now are doing 1.7s like everything Sports TV wise is down , it just doesn't mean much without fans and only diehards are watching it
