He COULD do that.

But he's not exactly a Spring chicken anymore...his window is closing fast.

He does what YOU suggest, and he's guaranteed not to win a title. At this point, it's a choice of money or title shot for him.

And I think he chooses the money.

In three years his stock wouldn't have dipped much further than it is now if he can still shoot. Make the money then ring chase when you are a free agent. The current basketball landscape is trash right now if you want to compete.

Melo would not fit with the Cavs.

You can't have him AND Kyrie both being ball dominant....LeBron would NEVER touch the rock. :pachaha:

You guys don't know shyt he would fit perfectly because he is a way better shooter than Love ever could dream to be and then second he can work in the post and create in the post and the Warriors wlll have to double Melo which would then be trouble they should have did the trade for Melo this yr but the Cavs and analyst are too in love with Kevin outlet passes and how they travel further than joe flacco passes to not see how weak his game in the Lebron system is. Melo is too good of a scorer and too good of a shooter to become Bosh and Love. Also Melo offensive skillset could slow the game down and not have Lebron have to go to the post so Lebron can be comfortable slashing off the Melo attention in the post

Melo has proven time and time again that he can play off the ball, actually he excels at playing with the ball not in his hand. He'll still get his 15-20 shots off with kyrie and LeBron being the main ball handlers. With no added pressure of carrying a team, Melo will still be able to grab 8-10 rebounds and still score 25. He'll be a better fit than Love

basically sums up any expectations..

He would be a good six man at this point.

Realistically, somewhere like Milwaukee, Washington or C's that at l see him going to and possibly being the missing piece. In the west, Memphis depending on What Zach has left.
