I like the hire and if Norv Turner comes on as the OC i'm gonna like that hire even more. God knows how much I hated Bill Musgrave. Kick Ponder to the curb and we gonna be alright on the offensive side of the ball.
Main thing though to fix is the defense, even with our QB issues we still could've won the NFC North had our defense and playcalling not fukked away at least 4 games in the 4th quarter

You can compete for a season with Ponder handing the ball off to AP. He would be a stop gap. Yall act like Smith didn't look Ponder-like unfixable before Harbaugh got there. Get the right OC/QB coach and run the west coast O and you can compete in a weak division.

Man what part of Vikings fans dont want that garbage ass muthafukka under center ever again in life dont you understand? He sucks, we dont want no damn Alex Smith lite as our QB. We need a franchise QB, we havent had one since Daunte ripped up his knee. In all honesty, Christian Ponder aint even better than Tavaris Jackson was.
You really think we trying to see Ponder struggle to throw for 200 yards in a game again next season? Hell to the naw. He's had his time here he aint it it's time to chunk him the duece

Im 100% positive he barely watched none if any Vikings games since Ponder has got here. He cant throw accurately, he cant throw the ball far, he makes piss poor decisions leading to picks. Dude is one of the WOAT QB's i've ever seen. Remember those games when he would struggle just to even reach 100 yards passing?

He has been terrible. But like I said, you can be competitive with him for a season. Do you want to draft a rookie and toss him into the fire? Who do you want to sign through free agency or trade for?
I understand that. I already said you needed to draft a QB...of course. But you can use Ponder as a stop gap for a year while that QB develops. Ponder is still quick and can be a game manager. Any OC worth a shyt can make that offense go with all that talent on O. Nikkaz need to put emotion aside and think logically about this. If not Ponder...then who? For the record...I think Ponder s ASS and said that he was ASS when he was at Florida State. Terrible pick.

Ponder didn't even finish out this season as the starter with Frazier as coach. But Zimmer, who has no ties to Ponder at all, is going to start him? Doh-k. He won't even be on the squad.
As a back up, maybe. Not as a starter. It will either be Cassel, a rookie, or another vet that they bring in.

Harbaugh drafted a QB (Kaepernick) who would sit and learn while he squeezed every ounce of productivity out of Alex Smith. Who will start day 1? Give me some legit options.
