He's old.
And his offensive schemes haven't been that good since the Dallas days.

:yeshrug:

Wrong again. It's not the scheme it's the players in the scheme..

His "scheme" is Air Coryell which is basically a vertical passing game mixed in with a power running attack..

Those tenets will never be outdated..

An offensive coordinator who can't adapt his offensive philosophy to the talent he has is not a good offensive coordinator.

And Norv hasn't been good in a long time

This is basic football breh.

What could any offensive coordinator do with what Minnesota has now :what:

They have NO OFFENSIVE LINE :what:

They have no outside skill players besides Diggs who really is a #2 masquerading as a #1..

They have a decent TE and the incomparable Adrian Peterson is out..

He lost his starting QB, pro bowl LT, all time great RB, they have one of the worst lines in the league and Diggs/McKinnon stay hurt too

Let's use some context here

He's been the offensive coordinator for 3 years.
He wasn't good in Cleveland.
And he wasn't good for most of the years in San Diego.
How many passes you wanna give him?

Even Sean McVay got Washington's offense moving the ball.

Basically. Diggs is nice but shouldn't be your only threat. Rudolph is a nice TE but you can't build your O around him. And oh yea, the OL is straight booty. Cant even blame Norm since they tried to address the OL in FA but everybody got hurt almost immediately.

Who has done anything in Cleveland nikka :what:

And he was great in San Diego as a PLAY CALLER not a head coach.

You don't know shyt about Norv as a play caller when he has pieces..

He is 2nd to none..

The D (where it's so cold)
LMAO, the one time the fanbase wasn't calling for his head he resigns and at 5-2.:dead:

No offensive line is no offensive line though so Norv leaving doesn't make the Vikings better, in fact this sort of hurts Teddy's progress under Norv.

Dude retires and everybody wanna cape. Like Minnesota had a good offense at any point in the Turner era.

:mjlol:

Norv Turner was the offensive coordinator in 2014

2014: 27th in total offense
2015: 29th in total offense
2016: 31st in total offense

Minnesota in 2013 before Norv was hired: 13th in total offense
