Norv Turner is not the offensive guru he was years ago, even if it wasn't totally his fault this year.

I think air coryell is past its prime in the league. same reason mike martz aint getting an oc job either.

NFL is a short pass league nowadays anyway. the only outlier last season were cards and steelers, and theyre regressing this year.

I remember when the Chargers had the worst offensive line in the league dude was still calling a ton of 7 step drops with a QB who isn't a scrambler.

Then before that, when the team had a great run blocking OL with the right scheme and a HoF RB, dude changed that. Practically ruined what should have been a championship team.

I'm don't even hold the blame squarely on Norv Turner, as much as I do regarding AJ Smith for thinking he'd be the best for the team.

Turner leaving will lead to a better offense. Bradfords first 4 games this year, play calling and game plan was done by Pat Shumur. The moment Norv took over playcalling and game planning again, he starts calling 7 step drops like he did with bridgewater that led to teddy being the most hit QB in the league last year. This leads to Bradford being sacked 11 times in 2 weeks.

Lmao Norv the main reason our offense is trash. Our offense sucked last year and we had both Teddy and AD. Dont cape for Norv breh. He was awful in Minny

Our offense was fine with no AD, our trash line, etc when Shurmur was running the plays. Norv was gonna get Bradford killed
