All these viking shows play with the timelines and have a bunch of characters with similar names or put characters in that didn't exist yet or were long dead for events.
but I guess the timeline goes Vikings > TLK > Valhalla.
Just finished this. Liked it a lot more than I thought I would since I didn't care too much about Vikings after Ragnar. Kinda missed some of the more metaphysical/spirit quest weird shyt those early seasons of Vikings had but like I said, I dug it a lot more than I thought I would. Excited for the next season.
Also yeah timelines are jumbled but TLK and Vikings OG were happening around the same time with majority of TLK being towards the end of Vikings. This is 100+ years after that. TLK is like 900 something, this is mid 1050-1060s

Overall it was 'meh', I just don't care about ANY of the new characters as I did in the original. The first was centered on Ragnar's family and their fight to survive and fighting each other.
Might re-watch Valhalla again to see if I missed anything to make me like it more. It's just missing something to make me care if any of these people live or die
