NFL made it mandatory to stand so the draw of this league is gone. Can’t wait til Vince loses money on this and enbarssses himself again.

League is going to be full of D2 and Canadian university graduates :dead:

I was hoping that they'd give Manziel the RKO White Privilege Pass and take him on. Now Hamilton is stuck with him :francis:

:dead: at applying for a position like it's a regular 9-5. :mjlol:

shyt is so budget that Cokeboy and Patterson will personally have to run the combine:patrice:

I still think it's gonna happen. It's two years away. They'll just say he's been a "model citizen" and let him into the league, they won't even mention the stupid morality rules that they had before. And they have money to spend now, money for a football league that nobody will watch :wow:

Vince should have honestly started an MMA company to rival UFC...think of Bellator but with way more production effort and money put into it. I thought that is what Shane wanted to do.

Nobody is going to care about any second rate sports league no matter what gimmick it has...unless its some temporary little thing that has celebrities like Ice Cube basketball thing

The announcement of the return of the XFL was made in January and is expected to launch in 2020. At the time, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon stated that he would spend $100 million on the league but that nothing close to what he will end up spending according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.

Instead, McMahon will spend $500 million on XFL within the first three seasons of the league.

“People were focused on the $100 million, but the truth is that doesn’t even get us to the 20-yard line,” league CEO and commissioner Oliver Luck told ESPN. Luck said the biggest cost will be the salaries to pay players and coaches as the average salary for the 40-man rosters will hover around $75,000, with players that are more in demand making much more than that.

“I’ve been at all levels of football and the importance of a broad-based insurance program cannot be understated,” Luck said. “There are very few participants who underwrite for this market anymore and it is obviously costly,” he said
