But yeah I agree with Vince.. before removing games league needs to remove preseason and just stretch out season enough to eliminate b2bs

the NBA is NEVER gonna remove games. they want that revenue, and the players want their full salary. no one involved is gonna be willing to take a paycut.

they could make the season longer to avoid all back to backs. that seems like the best compromise.

Well if the expansion thing happens then that could be a work around to less games per team. 76-77 to get them around the same total. Knock of 5 or 6 games.

This is such a pointless discussion. The NBA will never shorten the season and it's not because of the owners. The players will never agree to a pay cut as that would be the result.

Soccer has been having this discussion but they ended up expanding the roster and increasing the amount of in-game subs over reducing the schedule.

just like the NFL, they will never go back on the # of regular season games. once game 17 was added, they weren't ever going back 10 16.

everyone is simply too greedy to ever concede money they've already been getting.

these dudes are already going broke getting 82 game salary checks. imagine if they dropped it down to 70. that's like a 12% pay cut.

The game is definitely more stressful on the players bodies today, but IMO active players and coaches are being lazy about the solution



OKC, San Antonio, Boston, and even to a lesser degree Indiana has given the blueprint: gone are the days where you lean heavily on a 6-7 man rotation; you should be looking at 8-10 at least. In order to keep the players fresh coaches need to find ways to utilize more of their roster.

Why are players in games up 22 with 4 minutes to go? Lol

Im not paying for league pass or any additional streaming services if the players themselves dont wanna play

Im supposed to pay 100+dollars so they can blackout pistons, cavs and pacers games along with every night players not playing cause they dont feel like it?


Im streaming everything for free, all the games on one platform, and im gambling on everything I watch.
