He nailed it on the head with the WWE making the fatal mistake of appealing to the smarks who are going to watch no matter what. The casuals are all leaving and they must be appealed to, hence the fall of the ratings

Part one was pretty good. All I've heard is the first few minutes of Part 2. Didn't realize vince contacted him in 2002 to come back. I've heard plenty of interviews with him and this was the first I had heard of this.

Allegedly the story goes he lied and said he had a game changing idea that make would Vince tons of money. He then went in and proceeded to say some of the dumbest shyt ever and was immediately demoted.

Some people say he did this so that Vince would buy out his contract so that he could get paid & still go to TNA.

Russo has the right idea in a lot of regards (the presentation, the reason casuals aren't tuning in, wrestling is trying to be MMA/cirque du solie when it should be being character driven) but I tell you what bro, I will NEVER forget how much sounds like the typical "mark wrestling fan" that he seems to dislike/disregard when he gets going on his rants

Entertaining interviews in all seriousness bro

His unwaivering confidence to the point of delusion is hilarious, Steve hung back and just let him rant most of the time then would hit him with the hmmmm that's interesting

Dude ALWAYS brings up his attitude era stuff but NEVER talks about being head of creative in WCW & TNA.

He also talked about him pitching Bischoff as the reason he was demoted in 02. Numerous people have stated his full pitch was for Bischoff to bring in a WCW stable only a year after the invasion :mindblown:

"When i tell you this bro, you'll know i'm telling the truth"

*Proceeds to tell numerous :duck:"

Austin wasn't even entertaining his BS :russ:

Russo ain't goat at all.

If he was, he would have been able to replicate his success numerous times over instead of just being a guy who had some good ideas at one point and then failed over and over and over again. He's got lame ass nikkas like you gassing him up like he's this great wrestling mind when he was just some lame nikka who got lucky.
