I think you guys are missing the point here. A house show isn't just a house show anymore. With the camera cell phone age today, things have potential to be bigger than they are.

Plenty of wrestlers have caught backlash for things they did at house shows. I forget the incidents, but I know Jericho and Punk are 2 that come to mind. Didn't JBL do the goose step?

Obviously this isn't major, but it really shyts on the product and makes things seem useless and unmeaningful.

House shows are non-canon unless a title change, injury or incident like that that JBL goose step or Jericho disrespecting another country's flag.

So pretty much like rematch clauses, Vince chooses when they matter.
