I haven't mentioned Bernie at all in this thread. Since you want to talk about him, everything happening now just proves his agenda was right. The people that some argued shouldn't make a $15 minimum wage are now "essential workers" that are risking their lives to keep things open for us. Millions of people lost their jobs and their employer based health insurance, which they need more than ever now. Medicare for all would have kept that from happening. A green new deal/Federal jobs guarantee would keep people employed and making enough to not require this piecemeal stimulus that's letting corporations loot the treasury. Guaranteed paid sick leave would help keep people from forcing themselves to go to work sick to make ends meet.

The fact that Biden is not in favor of these policies even in the middle of this crisis shows he doesn't give a fukk about people.

he won't even phonebank for Biden. bet he won't donate to his campaign either. they think waiting until november and casting a vote is ALL they have to do.

this is why biden will lose. i can't believe they didn't learn from the one major mistake of 2016. never assume you will win. even if you're the Harlem Globetrotters playing against the Senators for the five thousandth time. never assume you will win. this is, like, something sun tzu and every other person who ever thought about any type of competition at all knew thousands of years ago.

I'm looking at what he accomplished. All he's gotten done is screwing over regular people. The crime bill helped get the U.S. to having the highest incarceration rate in the world. He got the Iraq war done, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives wasted. He got the bankruptcy bill done that stops people from discharging student loans through bankruptcy. He got a deal with Republicans to make the corporate tax cuts from the Bush era permanent.

Just saying he "got things done" without looking at what those things were doesn't mean shyt. If he's good at accomplishing things that will make things worse for average people then how is that a positive?

I’m a little closer to it professionally but really big picture the heads of sports being involved does make sense. It’s essentially the hospitality industry so it has impact directly on a large number of workers, restaurant business and hotel businesses. I’m not saying they should be at the front of the line or that those specific people are the right people but the right people from the sector should be consulted.
