For those who watched it, the programming/production of the game wasn't that good. They tried to make it fan-friendly by putting microphones on the coach and star players, but it was too over the top. It almost seemed like a joke compared to the NFL, and it was. The level of seriousness was decreased. In the NFL, the offensive and defensive coordinators are transmitting important information from the headsets to the head coach. It's all low key because you don't want to telegraph what you know and what you are going to do to the other team. Some head coaches will cover their mouth with the clipboard so no one can read their lips (you know who they are). In the XFL, its like no secrets, no coaching, no offensive or defensive coordinators. Just let the quarterback do whatever. The lowly CFL is a more realistic football league than the XFL.

People might just fly by this post, but I can rock with this theory as to why they failed. At it's base you're saying they didn't take it serious enough and that might be the truest shyt said about that league. Everything was half assed. You can be fun and take shyt seriously, but they didn't.

And all the xcons and "unsuitable" human beings can play for the XFL. We can leave all the straight laced players from wholesome backgrounds and flawless upbriging for the majority women fanbase of the NFL.

I'm certain the XFL would overtake the NFL in popularity in about 10 yrs.
So basically

I would watch the FUKK out of a new XFL with all types of talented players unable to pass the gauntlet of bullshyt necessary to make an NFL team :blessed:

The OG XFL innovated that above-field camera work that you get now in almost every game...the camera on a line able to traverse the field so you get a bird's eye view from behind the QB :dame:

Start the 2nd week of January. That's the worst part of the NBA season, and everyone is still fiending for more football during that time because it's the playoffs so there's a lot less NFL games.

8-week XFL season, start with 12 teams in 4 divisions (East, Midwest, South, West), then 1 playoff round between the division leaders (coin toss to choose which divisions play against one another) and 1 championship.

Schedule the games on Saturday nights.

Bye week during the Super Bowl (they're gonna need it after 4 weeks of old-school football). All players sign a 1000 page CTE waiver so shyt is really back to the savagery of 80s and 90s football :banderas:

Season wraps up just as basketball gets interesting with teams battling for playoff seeds.
All the brehs released during the NFL season could go straight to XFL training camps that happen all winter in Florida...imagine the fukkery :ohlawd:

As popularity grows...add more teams and develop a conference structure...would only extend the season an extra week or two to incorporate those playoff games and a wild card, you'd still be well within the NBA playoffs window :blessed:

Do it Vince :win:

Yeah but isn't it some kind of squeaky clean type of shyt? :scusthov:

Like no more players named He Hate Me, etc. :snoop:

It is, but it has to be if he wants it to be successful this time around. If not itll become arena football.

I think they're gonna make it a legitimate league to watch during the NFL offseason, and I think the only way they can successfully do that is to make it mirror the NFL, take it seriously and keep it clean and running.
