he don't want to be corporate

Rappers shouldn't bow down to no one, Spotify and other streaming services milk the fukk out of artist.

Aloe Blacc was one of the highest streamed artist on Spotify and Pandora, the highest he's even been paid for his work from a streaming service for 4 racks.

Vince respectfully doesn't participate in the game so many rappers play in.

:comeon:Yet he showed up to accept the award.

:laff: :laff: he's signed to a major label that's as corporate as you can get as a rapper

he don't want to participate but participated in spotify's event and performed for them :dead:

it's always funny to see nikkas talk about these rappers who so clearly crave fame and acceptance as if they're rebelling against the system or some shyt :russ:

vince staples would murder YOU and your mama to become Drake :sas1:

I mean you can opt out of websites if you dont want them to stream your music

Spotify a good discovery platform - but they pay peanuts .... its why A-1 artist always opt out of Spotify

We can't accept awards and speak on our minds now?

Brotha is free to do what he wants to do. That don't mean his actions should be admired. Cake up and then get cocky when you have a legacy to fall back on. Right now he don't have a legacy, he just has a big mouth.

Yeah at this rate he will be LIl B status in less then 2 years. But Kudos for speaking his mind. Short lived infamy will never compete with longevity in any field.

Who cares you millennial "I only care about hype and sales" clown. If his music continues to begreat and he can continue eating why does it matter?
