Oh and every song Vince got with a female is :blessed:

Even that joint with Jhene Aiko.. and I do not like her at all but her feature on Summertime 06 was nice.

Him and Kilo Kish make great songs together. He knows how to pick feature artists when he does use them which isn't that often really given how much music he has to really compliment songs instead of ruining them and really going with the flow and vibe of the song.

Ive seen so much hate the past week or so on the production Vince uses and I don't get it :mindblown:

The sound on this and Summertime 06 reminds of the Neptunes meet MIA.. it's like an updated or heavily influenced Neptunes sound. It's nice.

Saw someone said he should rap over a Mustard beat and I wanted to throw my phone out the damn window

I know a lot of ppl who only fukk with like...Life Me Up, Jump Off The Roof, and maybe 1-2 other tracks on Summertime 06 since they're more traditional production wise (to some extent).

But yea I don't get it. It's different as fukk but yo...this shyt knocks. Hard. The drums/percussion is interesting, it's not just boring ass robot trap drums or even normal rap drums. It's like some tribal shyt. And it's not like the production is straight up Danny Brown/Old EDM or some shyt lol. This shyt is INTERESTING.

I'm just happy for Vince. Dunno how long he can stay in his position without selling records but man, bless this dude for not doing what everyone wants. This is shyt I'd love to see more rappers experiment with.

I still bump "Lemme Know" at least once a day. That beat alone :banderas:

I rarely skip a song off the album and that's rare for me.

No lie, I played Summertime for most of that year breh. Like car ride to work, lunch break, car ride back, little bit at home.

I think I listened to it all the way through more than single tracks of TPAB and I'm a Kendrick fan.

Wake up to "Lift Me Up" :lawd:

Make a man evaluate his life listening to "Summertime":mjcry:

Verse 1 :wow: of C.N.B

Lil breh has a gift man.

Luckily he finished this EP off strong, was heading to bushes status over the first 3 tracks.

Vince is going to be in the game for a very long time if he chooses to. I can see him being a part of that next big 3 following Kendrick/Cole/Drake. I'm sure the hits will come.

Way better interview than Hot 97. Love hearing Vince talk, I'd love to meet him. Talks about the politics of fear and how they impact black people (and people in general). Dope shyt. Really hit home for me because I remember when I was a kid I loved watching the History Channel. And one day I was chilling at the mall with some friends, they were talking about shyt they watch and I was like "ayo any of yall watch such and such on the History Channel?" They clowned me for hours over that shyt and made me feel like shyt. And I didn't watch the History Channel again for years...
:mjcry:

That peer pressure/fear shyt is real. And it's fukking up kids.
