Kendrick and Staples should do a concept collab album contrasting their opposite, but intertwined lifestyles. Two young teens that live in the same neighborhood in Los Angeles. One is in a gang and the other is a kid trying to escape the neighborhood. The gang member recognizes the pitfalls of his lifestyle and the good kid does indulge in some vices too. Give some complexity to the characters. Make their storylines intersect.

edit: first disc was terrible...i dont even want to listen to disc 2 after that. i didnt like even one song on it wtf

Staples fan but I'm not really feeling this at all on first listen. I figured with all of this No ID and Dahi production it would be impossible to drop the ball but this ain't hitting at all to me. I'll give it a couple of more spins when I can focus on it instead of paying attention to work but this isn't what I expected.
